The exterior design born by contemporary interpretation of “shining bright watch” defined by the original design philosophy “Seiko Style” that is established by “44 GS” and launched in 1967, it has a surface with no distortion and frequently used as a mirror finishing.

The blue dial color is adopting the “Iwateyama pattern” expressing the magnificent sky of Mount Iwate. From the Shizukuishi luxury watch factory which is responsible for the mechanical watch of Grand Seiko, the scenery of Fuyuyama is emerging a hint of snow with a reflecting moonlight.
