CITIZEN Mechanical NK5020-58X Features
The Zenshin 60 pairs classic proportions with modern sport styling, crafted in CITIZEN’s proprietary Super Titanium™ that is five times harder and 40 percent lighter than stainless steel while being resistant to scratches and corrosion. The 40.5 mm case features refined brushed and polished finishing and is complemented by an integrated matching bracelet for a seamless look. Beneath the sapphire crystal lies a gradient green dial accented with a white outer minute track, luminous hands, silver tone markers, and an off center sub dial that provides a unique display of running time. Powered by an automatic movement, the watch delivers a 60 hour power reserve for lasting performance. It is water resistant to 100 meters. At its core is Caliber 8322, showcasing precision and craftsmanship in a contemporary timepiece.
Zenshin – in Japanese, this means progress, improvement or advancement. This was precisely the aspiration behind the world’s first titanium watch, which Citizen presented in 1970.
And it was this same philosophy that led to exceptional manufacturing expertise and in-house developments such as Super Titanium™ and Duratect over the following 55 years.
At Citizen, these in an especially durable watch made of titanium are suitable for everyday use – they are light, hypoallergenic, robust and scratch-resistant.

About CITIZEN Mechanical NK5020-58X
History of Citizen
The company was founded in 1930 by Japanese and Swiss investors. It took over Shokosha Watch Research Institute (founded in 1918) and some facilities of the assembly plant opened in Yokohama in 1912 by the Swiss watchmaker Rodolphe Schmid.
The brand Citizen was first registered in Switzerland by Schmid in 1918 for watches he sold in Japan. The development of this brand was supported in the 1920s by Count Gotō Shinpei with his hope that watches could become affordable to the general public. The growth of Citizen until World War II relied on technology transfer from Switzerland.
